We're a day late on our update as we forgot about it in the mad rush to get our first official beta build ready. It should go out in just 2 days from now!

As you can guess, we're been incredibly busy this week. We're trying to cram as much content as possible in the beta build and to start balancing items/abilities/encounter/etc more thoroughly (still needs some work in that area!).

On the programming side, we've focused on getting more cutscenes created this week and as new assets come in for our story actors, we're also backtracking and updating previous cutscenes with the new frames, etc. Things are shaping up nicely and we're happy about th...

Hello everyone!

This week we're wrapping up some of the work we've started in the past few weeks. We're done with our story polish phase for the most part, which means we'll be able to focus on the story cutscenes and story maps  from now on and those should be created fairly quickly. We've also fixed a few minor bugs we found while testing other features and exported another chunk of tunable values to our GameOptions.txt, which will allow modders (and anyone else wanting to tinker a bit) to customize the way random encounter enemies are generated (including their class and abilities).

Oops, somehow forgot the update yesterday! But here it is!

On the scripting side, we're still working on new cutscenes for the beta build, and we have 2 more that are in progress but not quite finished. We should be done by the end of the coming week on the story polish phase we've been working on for the past weeks as well.

On the art side, we have some new portraits, maps, spell effects and monsters sprites nearing completion, but none that are finished yet. Here's some previews of the new monsters:
