Lots of story related work this week, including special sprites and new cutscenes. A lot of those would entail major spoilers, so I'm going to focus on the safe stuff for images :)

On the art side, we have a new monster, a friendly looking zombie. Fell Seal isn't too rife with undeads in general, but we do have a few, including this guy:

He should be appearing in the next Beta build that should be coming out next week.

We also have the preliminary sprite for another story character, although we only have her basic look ready:

On the code side, we've been spending more time tuning and improving the AI and fixing a lot of small issues with it.

As usual, a busy week!

We've been adding a lot of improvements this week, most of which came from our Beta Backers (thanks guys!). After talking it over with them, we're also going to be releasing more frequent beta builds on a different Steam branch. Those builds are going to be more up-to-date and a tad more experimental.

On the code side, we updated to the latest version of Unity this week, in part for better Xbox One support and also for many Unity bug fixes. Not a big difference to the end user, but it had to be done at some point.

After breaking our save file backward compatibility this week, we decided to change our save files format...

We ended up skipping our update last week as we went out on a trip for a bit. We just had time to wrap up the beta build before we had to depart.

Since we've been back, we've been focusing on integrating the incredible feedback from all our awesome Beta Backers. A big thank you to everyone!

The list of tweaks is quite long, so we'll focus on the highlights for now: we added rotating autosaves (default amount of slots is 3) so that you won't lock yourself in a series of battle without a prior backup. We fixed a nasty softlock that was occuring under rare circumstances, cleaned up some of our spells descriptions, added more tutorial tooltips, add...
