We've been working hard to prepare for the upcoming beta build, which should be on Monday. We're also planning on updating our free demo with a more recent build, since we have about 6 months worth of improvements and fixes by now! That should be next week as well.

This week, we've focused on polish for the upcoming build: updating portraits, spells visuals and numerical values and a bunch of other tweaks left and right. We also added 3 new story classes, which we won't go into details about, since it would involve big spoilers (but they'll be in the beta build, so you can check them out soon).

The post PAX work has finally died down and we've been hard at work, business as usual.

We have a new monster this week. The Pectite, a deceptively friendly looking little guy that packs a powerful magical punch.

In actuality, we have four of them, one for each primary element in the game. They all have different colors and different styles, commanding their own element to big effect.

We've also been adding more spells to the game and we're about 90% done with getting the first version of each spell in. Although, we are planning more "polish" phases to make sure the spells are as impressive and exciting as we want them to be.

PAX East is finally over! It was a lot of fun, but 4 days in a row was certainly challenging.

We had a great time though and we got to meet a lot of other devs and a fair amount of medias and fans. It was our biggest event so far and we have to admit: it was an impressive venue!

We'd like to personally thank all the fans that met us in person during the event: it was awesome seeing you guys and thanks so much for checking on us! :)

We finally got to see our new trailer at PAX (our publisher has been handling creating it for us from a bunch of footage we sent them) and we thought it looked pretty good! Way better than the old one, that's for cert...
