This week, our focus has been on readying our next Beta Build (which should come out on Sunday). We've been wrapping up the last few encounters, fixing bugs and adding some polish to new content.

We also got our first Xbox One build going this week. We've had our devkits for quite some time now, but hadn't gotten around to using them until this week. It took about a day to get everything setup and then have the game up and running (there were a few unexpected issue with the build, but nothing we could quite resolve). We have a lot of new things in the works this week!

First, we have some new concept art, which should be used for posters and t-shirts for our booth at Gamescom. It should also be part of our game intro, which is just getting started. We're going for a story sequence shown in animated 2D panels. Something akin to Darkest Dungeon's intro, for example. It should be pretty awesome when it's ready!

Other than that, we've been working on our sound effects plan a little more and focusing on adding the Bzil race to the game. We now have Bzils fully working in the game, from spawning enemy units, to handling your own, including learning their special a...

We have lots of new progress to report this week!

First, we have a new map. This one is set in a desert/mountain area and has a pretty different vibe than our previous maps. There should be a pretty big battle on there :)

Next, we have a new completed monster, the Harvester. As usual, expect him to be friendly and compassionate. Yup.

And finally, we have our next big boss in the works, although that's still very much a WIP at this point!

That's the bulk of the new things on the art front.

In terms of programming, we've been working on the next story cutscene, fixing some bugs and updating some game mechanics.
