This is our 52th weekly update, which means we've been doing those for 1 year now! That's quite a lot of updates!

We've gone through a lot in the past year, from starting this dev log, to getting our free demo out on awesome sites like Game Jolt and Itch.io and, of course, with our successful Kickstarter back in September.

While there's still a lot of work left to be done, the game has really shaped up during that time! It's looking better and better and it's packing a lot of features and complexities. July 20, 2018

This week, we've again been mainly focusing on polish. Lots of bug fixing, adding new sounds, updating maps and abilities. On my side, most of the week was spent on finishing our crafting system. All crafting components, loot tables, treasures, stealables and poachables across the whole game have been created. It's one massive excel file at this point! The work is pretty much finished, minus one last review pass, to make sure everything is perfect. :)

Other than that, we just heard today that our PS4 devkits should be shipping next week. That means we'll probably get to work on the PS4 version next month.

This week, we've been focusing on polish as much as possible. We wrapped up the custom AI for our next boss fight as well as the special spells the boss will be using, but we're still waiting on the graphical assets for the boss, so not much to show yet (also, I'm not sure we should showcase our bosses, so they're a surprising when you get to them in game!).

Otherwise, we've finished revamping all the shops, including adding the proper shopkeeper sprites (those came mostly from our Mercantile Backer tier on Kickstarter and are looking pretty great!) and their portraits. We've also started on a big pass on all loot, drops, treasures and craftin...
